Paxcounter counts people by reading their WiFi signals. Once WiFi is activated, a smartphone continuously transmits small data packets in order to find known or open wireless networks.
The biggest concern is about data privacy. Our solution uses LoRa to transmit the results of the counting. LoRa is a novel narrowband IoT standard, only allowing a very limited amount of data to be transmitted. Hence, our solution guarantees data privacy by design.
Currently, we set up development projects with interested customers. On a later stage, we will produce the paxcounter as a regular product. If you are interested, send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org
